We're getting ready for Christmas. I couldn't wait to get a tree and have the nice smell in our house. We picked one up on Wednesday night. I must say Home Depot had an awesome selection. Porter likes picking at the tree. He tried to "hang" a few ornaments ... he just set them in the branches. He enjoys taking them off and handing them to me. We also made a paper chain so he can tear a link off each day. Afton was here last night and helped us decorate too.
Thanksgiving was delicious! We went to three. We mostly visited at the second one. There was so much good food... and lots of family. This was after eating and some folks had already left.
Maddyn played with Porter lots.
Porter was obsessed with all of the basketballs. Matt was holding him and tossing up a ball in this pic.
Macy and Fin were pals. She kept trying to eat his hair.

I loved when we would turn on the lights and our kids would just sit in front of it mesmerized. Thanks for taking a picture of Maddyn, too :-)! It's darling!
Nice work on the tree and chain. It looks perfect. Like I said, you're the antithesis of procrastination. Tree, check. Paper chain, check. Presents bought, stockings up, cards sent, checkcheckcheck.
